Originally conceived by and developed by monome, the Norns is a blank canvas that is designed to be whatever you want it to be. Using LUA, you can script out your perfect program for sequencing your devices, playing back audio, looping, or all of the above. Luckily for you, this version comes preloaded with a whole library of scripts, all of which are freely available and documented via the norns.community website. While this can work by itself, many scripts work best with a Grid, MIDI controller, or monome's Arc. Enjoy the classic MLR script for looping and splicing, ports of the long discontinued Earthsea and Meadowphysics, as well as dozens of other interesting scripts to explore.
