Stereo Variable Q Filter (VCFQ)
Random Source Stereo Variable Q Filter
The much ballyhooed Serge VCFQ is now available in stereo thanks to Random Source and their circuit wizardry. Take a stereo signal—or two mono signals if you're feeling wild—and get instant access to a low, high, and band pass filter output. All filters share a resonance and frequency cutoff, both of which can be modulated with CV, and they also share a Trig In which will cause the filters to ring. Set the Q high and use the 1V/Oct input to put it on oscillator duty, or keep the Q subtle and have the filter move with the sequence. An Aux In lets you blend a third signal that gets fed to both the left and right channels. If you're looking for a stereo filter with vintage sensibilities, the Random Source Stereo VCFQ can fill out your case with beauty and aplomb.
