Cuts is a series of records, perfect for practicing scratching, and integrating into your sets. This edition remixes the first two volumes onto a single white 7". The compact format fits the platter of a portable setup, which is where a great deal of scratching now happens, and the pressing is designed around the constraints that come with it: deep cuts and generous spacing so the needle stays put under heavy hand pressure, on a travel-friendly sized record.

The hand-picked source material includes a selection of loops, vocal shots and single sounds chosen for how they respond to the technique rather than for how they sound played straight. One side runs at 83bpm, the other at 100bpm, a tempo change loosely suggesting tiers of challenge.
