SoundID Reference Measurement Microphone for Speaker Calibration
Sonarworks SoundID Reference Measurement Microphone
The Sonarworks SoundID Reference measurement microphone is built for one job: capturing what your room does to targeted sine sweeps, so that SoundID Reference can build a profile compensating for the frequency build-ups and troughs in your listening setup.
Every unit is measured individually by Sonarworks acousticians against an ANSI-certified reference mic, then shipped with its own multi-angle calibration profiles covering 0°, 30°, and 90° off-axis measurement—enough for everything from a stereo pair to a multichannel rig. The profiles are also supplied as plain text for third-party use, and the mic works with both SoundID Reference and the older Reference 4, so an existing license doesn't need replacing to get the full benefit of a properly calibrated mic.
