In the instrument section (INST), choose from thirty-four acoustic instrument sounds, each with 256 Acoustic Characteristic Arrays for boundless sonic sculpting. Using Sonicware's innovative Backtide modulator, these sounds decay with reverse playback, creating a ping-pong looping effect to add texture to any sound. Wave provides a wavetable synthesizer with twenty waveforms generated from 128 harmonic tables, allowing for nuanced traversal of harmonic variation within a +/- two octave range. Adding a final touch of lo-fi brilliance, there are also two flavors of filtered white noise onboard to add characterful nostalgia and tone to every evocative composition. Evoke's dedicated granular processor, Grain FX, slices your musical phrases into microsounds, and manipulates them in multiple modes to reconstruct transformed and transcendent textures.

Like all LIVEN devices, the Evoke offers a multi-track canvas to layer and sequence sounds into entire compositions which adds depth to your studio workflow and stage performances alike. Record four tracks of performances including both notes and parametric changes, allowing for deep control over all of Evoke's highly capable sound engines.
