Bring flexibility and control to the timbre of your patches with Melt from u-he, a complex low pass and band pass VCF with a variety of controls for adding depth to your sound. Blend signals together with the internal three-channel mixer that gets summed to both the low and band pass outputs, along with a Aux input that bypasses the filters altogether. Control the level of the first channel with LVL1 input, which uses an onboard VCA to add additional control to the mixer. The Core Temperature parameter adds character to your signal's timbre by gradually introducing asymmetric soft clipping to the filter core, taking a sound from mild to unhinged at higher settings. Modulate the cutoff of the filtering with the two FM CV inputs, each of which with their own attenuator knobs. Additionally, the FM1 input has its own dedicated amount CV input, implementing another internal VCA to allow for complex modulation of your modulators. Control the slope of the low pass using the three-position switch for 12, 18, and 24 dB behavior. Avoid losing the low end of your patches when boosting resonance with the Res Comp switch, which automatically compensates for this loss, and preserves the bass of your sounds.
